Read More“We absolutely love Northshore swim! My daughter turned 4 yrs old just before we moved into a new house with a pool. To be safe, I wanted swim lessons ASAP. Since It was winter, I had a hard time finding a place to do it. I was so happy to find Northshore Swim where they teach year round! Their pool is covered with a dome and the water is heated to 90 degrees! I really liked the gentle and effective way Mrs. Gitte was teaching my daughter. I was also amazed to see a 2 year-old taking lessons and swimming underwater. It did not take me long to see that we had come to the right place.”

Read More“I'm a adult and didn't know how to swim. I went from being fearful and panicky to being able to swim laps. I went for 14 week course. The instructor gave me helpful tips to practice and I would practice on the weekends. Each week, I got a little bit better. Progress was slow for me, but the instructor helped me get over each hurdle: exhaling underwater, kicking properly, timing, strokes, etc.”

Read More“I started my baby at six months old and this experience has been great! My main goal has been accomplished which is for him not to be afraid of water, in fact, he loves it! By six months later, my little dude can float on his back just about by himself, he can also go underwater kicking and paddling without fear. He's also learned how to swim to the edge and hold on. I have confidence, because of Northshore Swim, that if my baby, God forbid, ends up in a pool when he shouldn't be, that he has the skills to not panic and to get himself to the side of the pool where someone can see and help him.
